Abstract: The article discusses the application of the concept of self-paced learning strategies within the Army noncommissioned officers' (NCOs') professional military education (PME) and training. The use of educational technology in future (as of September 2014) NCOES courses, is discussed. The role that the adaptive learning management system (LMS) software application plays in NCO education is also discussed.
