| Abstract (English): | The article analyzes Pope Francis' thoughts on the local and the universal, focusing on his key works such as the apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium and the encyclical letter Fratelli Tutti. The Pope proposes a non-dualistic vision of globalization and localization, emphasizing the importance of paying attention to both the global and the local, and seeking harmony between the two. Additionally, he emphasizes the need for universal fraternity and social friendship within each society. Pope Francis conceives Christianity from a Catholic dimension where individuals and peoples are equal before a merciful God who transcends divisions. The importance of loving and caring for one's own land and culture is also highlighted, as well as the importance of recognizing and valuing the peculiarities of each person and culture through contrast and harmony with other cultural experiences.
