Among the different characters that take part in the events described in La Segunda Leyenda de Ávila, it becomes interesting to study the way that Doña Urraca de León is represented. The Urraqueñan figure is portrayed with nuances typical of the eleventh century, but specially from the influence of the fourteenth century source and its faithful and final copy in the seventeenth century. In this study we delve into the elements of the text, context and history recorded or omitted in the different versions of La Segunda Leyenda de Ávila. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

De entre los diversos personajes que participan y actúan en los eventos descritos en La Segunda Leyenda de Ávila, se hace interesante de estudiar la manera en la que es representada doña Urraca de León. La figura urraqueña es dibujada con matices propios del siglo xi, pero con una impronta propia de la época de la redacción de la fuente en el siglo xiv, y su copia fiel y final en el siglo xvii. En este estudio nos adentramos a revelar los elementos propios del texto, contexto y la historia registrada u omitida en la fuente que estudiamos. Así, el eje del trabajo se encuentra en la presentación de la figura analizada dentro del contexto documental y de época. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
