Abstract (English):	In the face of major current challenges: addressing climate change and biodiversity loss, defending democracy, and combating inequalities, Spain joins the global debate on building and sustaining peace with a strategic and inclusive perspective. This article presents four Motivations that address existing forms of violence and future trends and risks, the preservation of the heritage of peace, the effective coordination and organization of the work of peacemakers and social movements, and, ultimately, the joining of forces and the foundation of active hope. Regarding the Principles, it establishes that Peace is nonviolence; that it is cooperative, participatory, and dialogue-based conflict management; that all progress in social justice is Peace; and that Peace is harmony with nature. Abstract (Spanish):	Frente a los grandes desafíos actuales: abordar el cambio climático y la pérdida de biodiversidad, la defensa de la democracia y la lucha contra las desigualdades, España se suma al debate global sobre la construcción y sostenimiento de la paz con una mirada estratégica e inclusiva. Este artículo presenta cuatro Motivaciones que remiten a las violencias existentes y a las tendencias y riesgos a futuro, la conservación del patrimonio de paz, la articulación y organización efectiva de la labor de los agentes de paz y los movimientos sociales y, en definitiva, a juntar fuerzas y fundamentar la esperanza activa. En cuanto a los Principios, determina que la Paz es noviolencia; que es gestión cooperativa, participativa y dialogada de los conflictos; que todo avance en justicia social es Paz; y que la Paz es armonía con la naturaleza.
