description The economic crisis has been particularly virulent with the media, which have joined the global recession with their own professional crisis. Journalism crisis has to do not only with the way journalism is practiced due to advances in communication technology, but more importantly, to the challenge of regaining credibility and offering platforms that account for honest reality, critically and independently from the powers that lurk professionals. Since the beginning of the crisis in 2008, 11,875 journalists were dismissed. Fortunately, 406 new media were created in 2014, compared to 297 in 2013. This text deals with the phenomenon of new media that appear in a paradoxically hostile environment
