| Summary: | We collect, in cronological order, the items on Julio Rey Pastor in the journal of the Spanish Mathematical Society (Revista de la Sociedad Matemática Española). The index is divided in two groups corresponding to well defined periods, 1911-14 and 1914-1917, in Rey Pastor's biography. His mayor personal contribution occurred from 1911 to 1913, when he moved foreward the chair in Madrid, then people spoke of him because he was a brilliant professor, and we can see how influential his labour in this period was.
In the second part of this work, we describe Rey Pastor's papers published in that journal, determining those who belong to his mathematical works property, a few and elementary in this case. But those who belong to other sections, the characteristic ones of the profesional journals, bring us interesting facts about Rey Pastor's personality and his way to progress in the national mathematical community. In the last numbers, as a part of the dispute motivating that the journal was closed, Rey Pastor was involved in the review of a very elementary proposed problem. |
