| Summary: | The last important period in Thomas S. Kuhn's philosophical and historical work goes from 1987 (the Shearman Lectures, not yet published) to 1993. The present paper describes and criticizes the theses there contained. Kuhn's central concept, the lexicon, is the new developed tool to face the troubles that the conceptual inconmen-surability has raised. At the same time evolutionist interpretation of scientific development and proliferation of scientific disciplines are considered basic concepts by Kuhn, who died in April 1996. |
