Description
Summary:After the review of the measures generally used to assess the morphology of writing and its development, an experimental study is conducted on the evaluation of the different morphological aspects of writing across different grades. The measures employed, including general and specific ones, are organized according to three morphological characteristics: productivity, complexity and accuracy. Samples of writing from 380 subjects belonging to 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th grade of EGB and 2nd grade of BUP were assessed. The differences between the groups were studied, as well as the logic of fitting of the data to a linear model and to a logarithmic model. Finally, the usefulness of such a study in relation to the assess of morphology and to the construction of models and systems of assessment of writing is exposed.
