Summary:Urie Bronfenbrenner starts by going through his own biography and explaining the influence of Kurt Lewin, Tolman and his own parents on his scientific training. Then he speaks about the methodological problems of Psychological investigation, his studies incorporating the model �person/process/context� or his laboratory work, focusing on various reflections about the ecological perspective and the environmental consideration. The author will as well advance some of the concepts of his last work, still unpublished, like the time factor or the relevance of the value system to understand development. Finally the author speaks about his participation on social and community intervention programs and offers some suggestions about the subject of European and Spanish Psychology�s future.
