| Summary: | Abstract: It is an indisputable fact that nowadays residential thermal air conditioning causes major energy consumptions under conventional cooling systems, however not all the individuals have access to these systems and even if they were capable to purchase them they must have at least a stable electrical grid (that is not always available in isolated areas). The aim of this article is to reflect on some examples of practical systems that might be used to make homes more comfortable by means of renewable resources, for instance solar radiation and minimum availability of geothermal exploitation. Then, it would not be produced high-energy consumption and it will be made with a moderate financial investment, as a consequence it will reduce the environmental impact caused by homes. The conditions for these systems are more focused on improving cooling efficiency than increasing power consumption, which is, reduce the amount of heat extracted to obtain a similar decrease of temperature. |
