description Complementary training is a tool that enables people to be continuously trained, allowing this training to be a great help for business mobility and professional experience. The Administrative Management Center belonging to the Regional Capital District has created a complementary training called Peace Manager at the request of Coronel Carlos Humberto Rojas Pabón, which consists of 5 key competencies with a total of 160 hours. The Police of the department of Soacha initiates the training in the year 2016 and at the moment the city of Montería to the control of Colonel Rojas when seeing daily the situations of violence that are presented decides to give a turn and to allow the community to enjoy a true peace, so that the community sees the police as a mediator that helps solve conflicts without escalating cases to criminal or administrative processes and reducing the rates of violence. As a result we achieve the positive impact that the police mediators have brought to the community, since in comparison between January and July of 2016 with January to July of 2017 the rates of violence have decreased by 50.4%.
