| Summary: | Abstract: Business management systems are tools that enable companies to improve the organization, in order to contribute to the conservation of the environment and the health of workers. Through the work done by apprentices of Technical degree in Specialty Coffee Production Sheet No. 475500, the similarities and differences between the NTC OHSAS 18001 and the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) were identified. A literature search was carried out to determine the standards and related information, in order to carry out a comparative analysis. The variables that were taken into account to identify the differences were the focus, the objective, the certifying agency, the structure, scope of operation, among others; the variables that were used to identify the similarities were the implementation of the standard, and the method of verification subject to updates, among others. By comparing the contents of the RAS with the NTC standard OHSAS 18001, the results showed that the principles of the RAS that are related and which deal with safety and occupational health are principle five "fair treatment and good conditions for workers" and six "Health and safety"; the other principles of RAS are not related to the OHSAS 18001 standard as they are do not take into account workers or safety but the conservation of ecosystems, water resources, soil, among others. |
