Summary:This article exposes the reflections of the SENA’s work thorough out Rodolfo Martínez Tono contributions; highlighting the entity’s decisive role as one of the institutions with broader presence in the country, regardless how distant the place may be encountered, recognised as an example of Training for labour and human development in Latin America. For that matter, its work and impact in colombian society is taken into account, from principles that assume educational processes in a comprehensive perspective, in which an anthropological and wider conception lies beneath, an idea that is not minimised into the methodological nor productive views.
