description Currently, municipal governments make use of new information and communication technologies (ICTs), through their implementation of electronic governments (e-government), seeking to facilitate the government-citizens relationship and strengthen national strategies for promoting transparency and integrity. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the government along the lines of the mayor’s offices in the south of the department of cesar. This research was conducted under the type of descriptive research; with a nonexperimental, cross-sectional descriptive and field design; The analysis units were sixty-seven (67) randomly selected users and the twelve (12) officials for a total of seventy-nine (79) people for each municipal mayor’s office. Among the partial results that we have had, we can appreciate the little operability of these electronic governments by the citizenry due to the absence of procedures and services, as well as the lack of knowledge of their use.
