Summary:The purpose of this study was to develop a revisión regarding the Psychological Welfare, especially on university students. For this, a systematic literature search was done adapting the methodology proposed by Tranfield, Denver y Smart (220), proposed in three stages, revision planning, revision development (ninety-one national and international studies) and report, starting from the concept of welfare until the definition of psychological welfare from a multidimensional perspective. In the same way, different strategies for improving the academic conditions in higher education students oriented to foster their continuity are presented, including future research guidelines and practical limitations of the study. This is shown from a multidimensional structure, where both the hedonic welfare and eudaimonic welfare are articulated and foster the development of policies that favor mental and physical health in the educative community, as the Psychological Welfare tends to be visualized in that way.
