| Summary: | Objective: This article shows the investigation results of the present article shows the results of the research about the analysis on social and environmental determiners present in the communities of the kilometres 6 and 11 in Leticia, Amazonas, in order to propose intervention alternatives from the view of the Environmental Health and Sanitary Security Technologist program. Methods and materials: The investigation design was based on the interpretative analysis of the identified variables on the proposed determiners by the Health Ministery, starting from the information gathering through observation and interviews to social players and artisans in the Uitoto reservation and San Jose Community, and the subsequent narrative interpretation of narratives compared with the theory and other studies on the topic. Results and disussion: The findings identifyed a fracture in determiners related with failures on articulation of state programs with the ethnic world view, deficient sanitary conditions and exposure to chemical substances in productive processes that might be affecting health and environment. Conclusions: There is an opportunity that the Formation Center develops interinstitutional intervention actions among brances and entities strenghtening the environmental comunitary surveilance, communitary participative strenghtening and the proposal of plans of environmental management. |
