It was developed a research whose objective was to characterize the nutritional status, the anxiety perception and the levels of physical activities of a group of employees and contractors of a SENA training center in Colombia. A transectional or transversal study was accomplished, focused on summarized data with proportions, medians and interquartile ranges. Correlations (Spearman) and medians comparisons (U de Mann-Whitney and Kruskal Wallis) with a statistical significance p<0,05 were reached. 68 people participated. (57,4% women), with a median age 38 years. The median energy expenditure in the physical activities was 1712,3 met/min/week; being bigger in vigorous activities (55,2%). They presented overweight the 45,6%, central obesity: 23,7% women and 34.5% men; low oxygen consumption 36.2%; high prevalence of strength deficits; the frequency of mild anxiety to moderate was 25%, bigger in women. As conclusion, it was found a high prevalence of overweight, low physical conditioning and low anxiety perception. |
