Description
Summary:In the direct store to store distribution sector, currently, there is a very competitive environment. For this reason the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operation is a requirement to stay in the market. This study presents logistic strategies derived from the characterization and consolidation of the logistics profile of a group of the direct store to store distribution companies in the city of Ibagué. As a result of these findings the weaknesses were mainly related to the variables in chain planning. Strategies are configured as an opportunity to strengthen logistical processing and are initially framed in areas of the process of formation and formalization, rather than in the investment of new technologies.
