description Polyaluminum is a material obtained from the recycling of tetra pak containers, which can have multiple applications as it is very versatile due to its physicochemical characteristics. It can be found in the construction area as plywood sheets that can replace lightweight materials for the construction of walls such as drywall or fiber cement. This article presents the results of a scientific research, which seeks to establish whether the commercial polyaluminum sheets and other sheets produced by the research team comply with the Colombian Technical Standard NTC 2261, which provides the minimum quality parameters for agglomerated particle boards for interior non-structural applications.
