Description
Summary:This article intends to divulge information about the process and result of implementing a prototype for optimizing the automation of irrigation systems through the use of mobile devices. It establishes how telecontrol system strategies that involve Dual Tone Multifrequency (DTMF) systems achieve the compatibility of any telephone system with applications as controls for a system, implementing a prototype that involves a computer program connected to a microcontroller and irrigation elements. Research is based on the work of Castro, Águila, Quevedo, Kleisinger, Tijerina and Mejía (2008), Luelmo (1975) and Mukherjee (2013), among others. This research is based on an experimental study of irrigation systems that intends to show their ease of operation through a PC and mobile devices with a tele-calling system. It demonstrates a way of optimizing the use of water resources and carrying out good development for plantings in terms of nutrition and the control of environmental variables inherent in agricultural production.
