This is how the Human Talent Training Center in Health (CFTHS) of SENA District Capital strengthened the use of simulated scenarios with Technology 4.0 as an alternative for clinical training activities under strict biosafety measures. Objective: The purpose of this study, framed in a qualitative approach, was to establish the perception of instructors and apprentices regarding the modernization of the simulated scenario of the Oral Health Assistant Training Program, concerning the use of 4.0 technology equipment and its impact on the teaching-learning process. Methodology: Three instructors, ninety-six students from the Oral Health Assistant program, and twenty students from other CFTHS programs were selected for the sample. Results: in the three categories studied: (1) motivation, (2) usefulness in skills training, and (3) usefulness in practical performance, showed a positive perception by the people involved in this research; Conclusions: in the case of instructors, they recognized the importance of the 4.0 technology equipment for its implementation in simulation strategies, the apprentices perceived it as useful and dynamic tool in their learning process, achieving the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will allow them to develop in their professional practice efficiently and resolutely. |
