description In this article, different theories and pedagogical strategies exposed by different authors are exposed, focused on strengthening learning through technological tools mediated by simulators. The scope of the project is limited to the Caribbean Biotechnological Center, belonging to the National Learning Service (SENA), Cesar region; aimed at a population of thirty-seven students, distributed in three groups of the same training program. The main objective was to develop a strategy to strengthen cybersecurity learning by taking advantage of the potential of the Hackend simulator in the apprentices of the Information System Analysis and Development Technologist program. The implemented methodology was developed from a qualitative study, implementing a research - action design, which allowed an exhaustive search through scientific journals, texts and academic databases; but direct interaction with the students throughout the process was also possible, thanks to the use of Problem-Based Learning and the SENA pedagogical model, which is oriented towards Comprehensive Professional Training (FPI). The work concludes that technological strategies mediated by simulators support the strengthening of learning in cybersecurity in a significant way and efficiently take advantage of its potential in the classroom by being incorporated into a good learning environment.
