description Currently, synthetic inputs and traditional textile dyeing processes have a negative impact on health and the environment. One of the proposals to mitigate this impact is the replacement of synthetic dyes with inputs of natural origin that result in a more sustainable and circular textile process. The results of the scientific-technological surveillance carried out by the seed growers and the twenty-one (21) potential sources that they found to obtain natural dyes in the region are presented. In conclusion, the region has multiple possibilities for the development of green businesses to obtain textile dyes, especially from sources derived from agribusiness.
