description Informal trade is on the rise in Colombia (South America), driven by economic slowdown, increased unemployment, government incentives to activate commerce, and the acceleration of digital delivery platforms like Rappi. This growth requires businesses to adjust their processes to the current dynamics and understand the necessary capabilities to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction. In response to this need for digital transformation in commerce, FeBePOS has been developed, a software for business management that helps take control of the business and increase sales. This case study is based on qualitative exploration and presents the results of identifying the digital capabilities needed for the software's development, as well as for the digitization and increased sales of a business. Furthermore, the functionalities of the developed software are described in relation to the management modules of the most relevant processes, such as customer management, segmentation under RFM (recency, frequency, and monetary), labeling, the personalized text messaging (SMS) system, and operation and logistics management, among others.
