Description
Summary:The partial results of a research project that seeks to develop a structure for filters implementing the structural, hydrodynamic and prototyping advantages offered by the use of the hyperbolic figure are presented. After the respective study, a hyperbolic geometry is proposed which is modeled in the design application. This article reports the experimentation process once the magnitudes and advantages of the hyperbolic figure have been established to determine the most suitable material to carry out the channel. As a preliminary result, acrylic is favorable, taking into account its malleability and its tolerance to heat in the thermoforming process.
