| Summary: | The unavoidable changes that organizations face due to natural, social and technological hazards, bring with them the alteration of their normal performance, and in that same sense, affect the fulfillment of the objectives proposed for the achievement of their goals. Organizations constantly fall into traps by grossly underestimating the adverse impacts on the materialization of their threats, even more so when they are exposed to a high level of vulnerability, most of which leads to the loss of a systematic balance or interruption of their operations, as well as high economic costs in their recovery. The objective of this research was to compare the age in the vulnerability assessment in order to provide an overview of the segmentation of the Educational Institution based on data management. To fulfill this purpose, a study with a quantitative approach was developed. This study involved 345 participants as a primary source of information, including trainees, instructors and administrative staff who answered a questionnaire on building vulnerability analysis. The segmentation and grouping of responses will be studied later as a basis for data analysis in order to obtain a greater wealth of information. The results of this research allow evidencing the potential development of knowledge based on data management and, therefore, empower the top management to take the necessary treatment.
