Description
Summary:Emerging technologies are part of the Digital Transformation in the world. Blockchain is one of them and beyond being popular for its use in financial exchange operations, the cryptocurrency is looming as an innovative element in other areas of knowledge, such as the health sector. The Antioquia SENA Regional Health Services Center, with its Central Knowledge Technology Services Laboratory, KPO, tries to implement this technology within its portfolio, as a strategy to increase the security of health data, allowing the mobility of information with cybersecurity protocols that guarantee the protection of data, regardless of the actors that can access them, whether from the health sector or the user himself, who is the true owner of the information. Possible diagnostic applications for the use of this tool are envisioned, including the use of neural networks and Deep Learning for the early diagnosis of Melanoma, when taking a photograph of a possible lesion with characteristics that suggest malignancy.
