description Objetive: To promote intersectoral cooperation, in order to strengthen the health innovation ecosystem in Colombia, Siemens Healthineers (SHS) and the National University of Colombia (UNAL) held the 169th edition of the Innovation Think Tank (ITT) Certification Program from June 5th to June 9th, 2023, which took place for the first time in Latin America. Methodology: In this experience, the ITT innovation methodology (acquire mandate, set analysis, co-creation and commercialization) was used to address health access challenges in the region. Results: The intersectoral articulation with a focus on inclusion strategies is highlighted, which managed to subsidize participants and coordinate the first program with a hybrid Spanish-English language approach. It also stands out for the extensive participation achieved, being one of the programs that has brought together the most disciplines (30), participants (72), and experts (24), and the first one with mentorships. Conclusions: In this way, through this success case, the relevance of developing initiatives within the innovation ecosystem was evident and it is expected that this will be the first step to continue establishing intersectoral innovation spaces that work on the challenges that Colombia has in access to health. Key words: Technological innovation, science management, technology and innovation in health, accessibility to health services, intersectoral cooperation.
