description This article analyzes the technological scaling of the AgriTech platform CertiAgro, an initiative designed to overcome barriers to accessing sustainable agricultural certifications for producers in the department of Cauca, Colombia. The project addresses the technological gap in the rural sector, which limits competitiveness and access to higher-value markets. The central objective was to raise the platform's maturity from a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4, corresponding to validation in a laboratory environment, to a TRL 7, which involves the demonstration of a system prototype in a real operational environment. To achieve this, an agile development and open innovation methodology was implemented, identifying priority features through co-creation with producers and validating the scaled platform in real agricultural settings. The results demonstrate the achievement of an advanced technological prototype, functionally validated with end-users, and a knowledge transfer plan executed with key stakeholders of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation System (SNCTeI). The discussion contrasts these findings with literature on technology adoption and the AgriTech ecosystem in Colombia, arguing that CertiAgro's user-centered approach and gamification provide an effective response to traditional barriers in agricultural extension. It is concluded that the project not only validates a technological product but also a methodological model for developing relevant and adoptable AgriTech solutions in Latin American rural contexts.
