| Summary: | A culture of the Pleurotus ostreatus fungus was elaborated on four solid residues of different origin used as substrates. These were residues of coffee for human consumption, sugar cane bagasse, corn stalk, and banana leaves. The effect of the four substrates was evaluated individually on the fungus production through indicators of biological efficiency, yield, incubation time, primordia appearance time, number of fruiting bodies and productivity. A proximal analysis was performed on the substrates and fruiting bodies from the bags to evaluate their nutritional content. |
