description Using samples from the Torca, Guaymaral, Córdoba and Conejera marshlands located in the north of Bogota city, microorganisms with enzymatic activity were isolated. Using the halo hydrolysis in starch agar production, carboxymethylcellulose and sawdust extract agar growth, 51 strains were selected, 18 of which are amylolytic, 11 cellulolytic and 22 lignolytic. The microbian microscopy showed that 50.98% of the selected strains are Gram positive bacilli, 33.33% Gram negative and 15.69% fungi. The culture medium and the enzymatic activity evaluation technique allowed the microorganism isolation in every marshland, in which the strains collected from La Conejera marshland being the ones with higher enzymatic value. The culture medium and the enzymatic activity evaluation technique allowed for the isolation of the microorganisms in each of the marshlands, with the strains obtained from La Conejera being the ones with the most enzymatic potential. With the cellulase, lignocellulose and amylases producing microorganisms isolated, the production of enzymes that are going to be used in the degradation of vegetable materials in order to obtain methanol, vegetables extracts and other products will begin. These products are of major interest for the educational projects in the Industrial Management Center.
