Abstract: The article focuses on corrections made to figures in a previously published study on peatland fire dynamics. Specifically, errors in the y-axis labels of Figure 2, swapped legend labels in Figure 3A regarding "burned peatland area" and "peatland area," and missing units in Figure 4B were identified and rectified. The corrected figure captions clarify the representation of peatland cover by type and fire ignition sources, distinguishing between human-caused and lightning-caused ignitions. These amendments ensure accurate interpretation of data related to peatland fire extent and ignition patterns from 1985 to 2019. [Extracted from the article]
