| Abstract: | The new CSi8D Series benchtop controller is built around Omega Engineering Inc.'s award-winning family of meters and controllers. This prewired, ready-to-go unit features a portable, rugged, metal case with tilting handle. A new nonstandard thermocouple, Watcouple, is designed by Watlow Electric Manufacturing Co. to provide more accurate measurements and exhibit three times less drift than Type K thermocouples. The result is a longer-lasting sensor that not only helps reduce operating and maintenance costs, but also increases process uptime and availability. |
