| Abstract: | This article presents information on various new products related to mechanical engineering. The DRF series DIN rail signal conditioners from Omega Engineering Inc. are designed to accept a range of input signals, such as ac and dc voltage and current, frequency, temperature, and process transducers, and provide standard process outputs of either 4 to 20 mA, or 0 to 10 V dc. Small-capacity, strain-gauge reaction torque sensors from PCB Piezotronics Inc. are useful for torque measurements in applications such as lubricant studies, torsion testing, bearing friction, small motor dynamometers, stepping switch torque, and starter testing. |
