| Abstract: | This article presents information on new mechanical engineering products launched in the U.S. Omega Engineering Inc.'s LCKD Series compression load cells measure load ranges from 1 kg to 1,000 lbs., in diameters ranging from 0.38 to 0.75 inches and heights from 0.125 to 0.25 inches. Stafford Manufacturing Corp.'s rotary encoder collars can add speed sensing capability to shafts. These collars are machined from aluminum and feature metallic targets that can be read from both the face and outside diameter surfaces. John Crane Inc.'s newly developed universal vessel seal has a modular cartridge design. The heavy-duty gas-lubricated universal seal is useful for a variety of mixing and agitating equipment, as well as other top entry mixer applications. |
