Abstract: The quality of service in mobile communication networks is intricately linked to various factors, with network coverage being a crucial determinant. Mobile network providers aim to deliver reliable, seamless connectivity to their subscribers; however, predicting network coverage is challenging. Simulation tools are essential for predicting network coverage. Hence, this paper introduces a user‐friendly application built with MATLAB's graphical user interface (GUI) to predict and simulate coverage areas for mobile communications in the Sub‐6 GHz bands. Developed in MATLAB's application Designer, the application leverages characterization parameters derived from a propagation path loss (PL) model established through measurement campaigns in Palapye, Botswana. Additionally, the application incorporates atmospheric conditions to assess their impact. The simulation results generated by this application offer valuable insights for network designers in deploying mobile communication networks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
