Abstract: Phenyl versus methyl (alkyl) group migration is assessed in the fragmentations of neophyloxychlorocarbene, 2,2-diphenylpropyloxychlorocarbene, and 1-phenylcyclopropylmethoxychlorocarbene. Rate constants and activation parameters of the fragmentations are also reported. [Copyright &y& Elsevier] |
