| Abstract: |
In this article, the author comments on the article "Scale effects in physical hydraulic engineering models," by Valentin Heller, published in a 2011 issue of the "Journal of Hydraulic Research." It is commented that in the Heller's article, discrepancies between physical and numerical model results are not due to scale effects but rather due to an improper or incomplete numerical, or theoretical, model. |
