Abstract: The article discusses the different aspects of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in the U.S. Topics discussed include the most significant change in ESSA which is the reduction of authority of the federal Secretary of Education, key definitions of ESSA, and the role of school psychologists to help states, districts, and schools implement the new requirements.
