Abstract: The article presents the annual report on the activities organized by the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) for library professionals from 2016-2017 in the U.S. These activities include the 60th anniversary celebration of ALCTS offering trades and forums on library service professionalism, the mentoring programs which aim to augment existing networks and a symposium on the promotion of equity, diversity and inclusion in the profession.
