Abstract: The article discusses the Building Community Resilience (BCR) process which involves collaboration between educators and community groups in addressing the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACE). Topics explored include the identification of behaviors of children which may be attributed to ACE, the shared responsibility of community and education leaders in supporting students with trauma, and brief details about the 3toPhD BCR network launched in Portland, Oregon.
