Abstract (English): Amid profound educational reforms, school social work in Germany has significantly evolved. Once viewed as a peripheral role with limited impact, it now plays a central role in shaping education and promoting inclusion and social participation. The article examines how social work approaches are successfully integrated into school systems and how videography can serve as a methodological tool to professionally prepare prospective social pedagogues. Through a detailed analysis of historical developments, legal frameworks, and practical implementations, the paper highlights the need for specialized training methods and discusses future research and educational perspectives in the context of social work in schools. Abstract (German): Im Zuge reformerischer Eingriffe in das Schulsystem haben die Etablierung sozialpädagogischer Tätigkeiten und Rollenprofile in den vergangenen Jahren stark zugenommen. Einst als Nebenrolle mit begrenzter Wirkung gesehen, erfahren sozialpädagogische Kompetenzen und Expertisen heute eine zentrale Rolle in der schulischen Bildungsgestaltung, gleichwohl persistieren tradierte interprofessionelle Ambivalenzen auch im Zeitalter der programmatischen Rede von Multiprofessionalität. Der Artikel untersucht, wie sozialpädagogische Ansätze erfolgreich in Schulsysteme integriert werden und wie Videographie als methodisches Werkzeug dienen kann, um angehende Sozialpädagog:innen professionell vorzubereiten. Durch eine detaillierte Analyse von historischen Entwicklungen, rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen und praktischen Implementierungen beleuchtet der Beitrag die Notwendigkeit von spezialisierten Trainingsmethoden und diskutiert zukünftige Forschungs- und Bildungsperspektiven im Kontext der Sozialen Arbeit in der Schule.
