| Abstract: | This study investigates the evolution of the Outline for Women's Development in China (1995–2021) by using Python, with particular attention to the changing policy orientation towards childcare support. By categorising support into economic, service, and institutional dimensions, the study highlights a gradual expansion of care-related content and the increasing recognition of shared family responsibility, especially male participation. The analysis also reveals stable core concepts, such as rights, protection, and participation, alongside evolving emphases on health, education, and legal mechanisms. Drawing on national social survey data, the paper further reflects changes in women's perceptions of gender equality and self-empowerment. This study concludes that while China's gender policy framework has become more inclusive and responsive, especially in care-related fields, gaps remain in implementation and detailed planning, calling for further alignment between policy design and women's lived experiences. And the application of Python enhances analytical transparency and scalability, offering a replicable method for future policy research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
