Abstract (English): The aim of this study was to examine the direct relationships between parents' marital satisfaction, authoritative parenting attitudes, and their children's self-regulation skills and the mediating role of authoritative parenting attitudes in the relationship between marital satisfaction and self-regulation skills. The participant group of the study consisted of 376 parents (348 mothers and 28 fathers) with children attending preschool education, aged between 25 and 47. The participants were presented with the Marital Satisfaction Scale, the Parenting Attitude Scale, and the Self-Regulation Skills Scale for 4-6 Year-Old Children along with a demographic information form. The study was conducted in light of the relational screening model. The findings showed positive significant relationships between parents' marital satisfaction, authoritative parenting attitudes, and their children's self-regulation skills. The findings also showed that the mediating role of parents' authoritative parenting attitudes in the relationship between parents' marital satisfaction and their children's self-regulation skills was significant. Abstract (Turkish): Bu araştırmanın amacı ebeveynlerin evlilik doyumu, demokratik ebeveyn tutumları ve çocuklarının öz-düzenleme becerileri arasındaki doğrudan ilişkileri ve evlilik doyumu ile öz-düzenleme becerileri arasındaki ilişkide demokratik ebeveyn tutumunun aracı rolünü incelemektir. Araştırmanın katılımcı grubunu okul öncesi eğitimine devam eden çocuğa sahip yaşları 25 ile 47 arasında değişen 376 (348 anne ve 28 baba) ebeveyn oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılara demografik bilgi formu ile birlikte Evlilik Doyumu Ölçeği, Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği ve 4-6 Yaş Çocuklarına Yönelik Öz-Düzenleme Becerileri Ölçeği sunulmuştur. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeli ışığında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular ebeveynlerin evlilik doyumu, demokratik ebeveyn tutumları ve çocuklarının öz-düzenleme becerileri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkileri ortaya koymuştur. Bulgular ayrıca ebeveynlerin evlilik doyumu ile çocuklarının öz-düzenleme becerileri arasındaki ilişkide ebeveynlerin demokratik ebeveyn tutumlarının aracı rolünün anlamlı olduğunu göstermiştir.
