| Abstract (English): | This research investigated the perspectives of children in refugee situations on the daily lives, based on eating, playing and living. Fourteen Afghan refugee children, housed in an institution in the interior of São Paulo state, Brazil, participated. The results were produced from field journal records, photographs, and drawings made by the children and analyzed through thematic content analysis. Regarding living, the children associated elements such as airplanes, Afghan and Brazilian homes, and mainly people, presenting the human as a living space. Regarding eating, the children explored Brazilian and Afghan foods, and regarding playing, they related to collective encounters with their peers. The research revealed elements about the daily lives of refugee children from their own narratives, while also raising new matters to be investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
