Abstract: This article focuses on the life and career of Professor Peter Creed, a prominent Australian psychologist and career development researcher who passed away in November 2025. Creed’s work spanned over three decades, including a 25-year tenure as Chief Psychologist for the Commonwealth Employment Service in Queensland and a subsequent academic career at Griffith University, where he supervised 27 PhD students and published extensively on career development, unemployment, and applied psychology. He served as editor of the Australian Journal of Career Development (AJCD) from 2016 to 2021, during which he led significant advancements in the journal’s international standing, ethical standards, and accessibility.
