Abstract: This article focuses on the life and career of Professor Peter Creed, a prominent Australian psychologist and career development researcher who passed away in November 2025. Creed’s work spanned over three decades, including a 25-year tenure as Chief Psychologist for the Commonwealth Employment Service in Queensland and a subsequent academic career at Griffith University, where he supervised 27 PhD students and published extensively on career development, unemployment, and applied psychology.
