Abstract (English): The article focuses on the contributions of Dr. Ciro Parra Moreno to understanding teaching as a reflective praxis and its relationship with teacher professionalization through educational action research (EAR). Parra argues that education is an intentional and ethical human action, where the teacher is an active agent who systematically reflects on their practice to improve it. EAR is presented as a methodology that links action and reflection, allowing the teacher to generate situated pedagogical knowledge, strengthen their professional autonomy, and participate in academic communities. Thus, Parra's proposal redefines the teaching role as an intellectual and ethical exercise, grounded in one's own research and the collaborative construction of educational knowledge. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
