The article highlights the Northeast Regional Liaison Conference, which was held in conjunction with the Northeast Regional Conference of the National Association for Retarded Children (NARC) in June 11, 1956 in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The conference was jointly sponsored by the American Association on Mental Deficiency and NARC. Professionals and parents of the mentally retarded attended for discussion on institutions, care for the retarded and community facilities and how to make it improved. |
