| Abstract: | This article presents the 2006-2007 annual report for the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary and discusses events associated with the celebration. These events include the symposium "Definitely Digital: An Exploration of the Future of Knowledge on the Occasion of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services," in Seattle, Washington, on January 19, 2008, and the conferences "Interactive Futures: A National Conference on the Transformation of Library Collections and Technical Services," in Washington, D.C. from June 20, 2008 to June 21, 2008, and "Findability: Librarians, Libraries, and the Internet of Things with Peter Morville," in Washington, D.C. on June 25, 2008. |
